The one we have now is probably the gayest ever. The factions screen was the best. So was the violin music that played.

I would like the Factions screen again, loved that one. Although, I am quite fond of the GW:EN version. It is so epic.

Prophecies:

As already mentioned: On selection a character would step forward - in this picture it was my pumpkin-monk

As far as I remember there wasn't a possibility to change the view at all, it was fixed (unlike the factions/nightfall/GW:EN ones).
If you decided to create a new character, the camera would go off to the right, up on a little hilltop, where your new char stood and waited for you to pick a profession and appearance.

When I'm feeling nostalgic, there's always the fan-made Factions log-in screensaver. Funny how ANet hasn't picked up on player demand for these things yet, huh?

EDIT: They did acknowledge "log-in fans" with the "Hide UI" button, but that's not what we're looking for, right?

I love the GWEN log in screen the most.. just love it so much, i've always felt at home in the shiverpeaks, so it fits perfectly.
